Strolling around with two children has never been easier.
The versatile Caboose Stand-On Tandem allows an older child to stand on its
patented rear platform while a younger child rides comfortably in front. If the
standing child tires, they can turn around and rest on the padded rear seat.
Parents will also appreciate the rear platform -- no more lifting a heavier
older child in and out of the stroller when they want to sit or get tired. The
rear stand-on platform and the rear bench seat are designed for a child that is
at least 2 1/2 years old but less than 40 inches tall. The Caboose comes
fully-equipped with a universal car seat attachment system that accommodates an
infant car seat in front, so it can be used with a brand new arrival. The front
seat has two positions. The fully upright position should only be used for a
child that is at least six months old. This stroller is lightweight and folds up
compactly. It also has a large basket and storage pockets to carry all the
essentials.

Great alternative to a double
stroller..., November 8, 2005
We have a 3 year old and a 4 month old and this stroller suits us well. My
daughter is very tall for 3 and her feet drag on the ground in most strollers so
this is perfect for her. I like that I can buckle her in when I need to and she
likes the option to stand giving her a little more freedom than in the past.
After pushing around a Graco Duo-Glider that I borrowed from our sister in-law
this thing seems so light! Other tandems are very long making them hard to
steer, this one has a shorter footprint so it is a lot easier to manuever. My
son is large too and outgrew his infant carseat very early so the front seat
does need to be reclined for him due to his age. This does not give my daughter
a ton of room when she is sitting but he'll be able to sit in the upright
position soon enough. I think it is great for getting the older child from the
car to the store w/o having to worry about traffic in busy parking lots. It's a
lot more convenient than bring a HUGE double stroller everywhere for a 3 year
old who might want to ride and might not. It should be useful for a lot longer
than a traditional double stroller for anyone with kids spaced a couple of years
apart.

BEST INVESTMENT YOU CAN MAKE,
November 18, 2005
I had a similiar stroller "sit n stand" for my oldest two children which were
3 yrs apart and absolutely loved it even though it was more costly than this one
and much heavier. Ten years later I have a 2 year old and expecting this spring.
I have spent many hours online and in stores searching for a decent double
stroller that is not heavy, hard to steer or bulky when folded to no avail. Then
I found this! Even though I don't have the baby yet.....it folds up smaller than
my single stoller and steers much smoother so I am extemely happy using it with
only one child. With the holiday shopping I use the back section to carry
packages and my toddler is content in the front, or if he gets bored I swap out
positions with the packages. I know without a doubt I will love it even more
when the baby comes.
The only "problem" if you can even call it that is there is no cup holder or
tray for parent. I never have used the tray on my old travel system and a cheap
$5 attached cup holder did the job for me!

A True Life Saver!,
February 12, 2006
This stroller is awesome! I was a little nervous on my first outing with my
25 month old and my newborn but this stroller put my worries to rest. I very
easily attached my Chicco key fit car seat onto the stroller and put the red
safety strap over it. It fit snug and tight. Then my 25 month old hopped right
onto the rear bench seat. She is very tall for her age and had no problem
sitting on the rear seat when the infant car seat was attached. It was nice to
be able to strap her in on the bench seat which gave me more control. I also
like the mesh pockets on the rear of the front seat. I slipped my cell phone and
car keys right into them and my child leaves them alone. Since my first outing,
I have used it on a 2 mile walk with the dog and it handled well over the rough
sidewalks. My older child was able to change positions from sitting on the rear
bench to standing on the rear platform. It is a lot more fun for her then
sitting in a tradtional double stroller and I love it because it is smaller in
length and weighs a lot less.

Serious design flaw destroyed
wheel, February 10, 2006
We bought this stroller and thought is was excellent... until we realized the
back left wheel was being mutilated. After only 3 months the wheel has been
destroyed by catching the hold-open latch everytime it is closed. Don't buy this
stroller if you open/close the stroller even infrequently.
