The aluminum-framed MetroLite LX provides the sturdiness of
a standard sized stroller with the comfort and convenience of a lightweight
stroller. The one-hand, multiple position reclining seat goes nearly flat for
infants. An adjustable handle allows mom and dad to each adjust the stroller to
their height needs and both are sure to enjoy the one-hand fold mechanism, which
makes the stroller easy to store. Plus the MetroLite LX is outfitted with an
extra-large lower & load storage basket, making it easy to access even when your
child is asleep! The MetroLite LX also features an infant headrest, a large
canopy with top and rear peek-a-boo windows, and a parent organizer and child
snack tray - both outfitted with a cup holder. Best of all the MetroLite LX is
compatible with our Graco(TM) infant car seats!

Buy the Quatro Tour,
January 22, 2006
I fell in love with the print of this stroller before I ever even saw it!
Three years ago when I had my daughter you could only find carriages in blue and
green - so the pink immediatley caught my eye. I wish it hadn't. I ended up
returning both the car seat and the carriage in exchange for Graco's new
Casstleton print Quatro Tour, the same carriage I had with my daughter in a
different color scheme.
The carseat itself is wonderful - it is the Graco Snugride ... the best on the
market, I believe. BUT beware - it does not wash well and the pink, expecially
the boot, gets dirty fast.
The stroller left A LOT to be desired. THe carseat does not snap into it as
safely as it does in the quatro tour - when I asked the lady at Babies R Us
about this she even admitted it is because there is too much padding on the seat
of the carriage. Also, the raising and lowering device for the seat does not
seem very safe, where as the quatro tour has a metal bar that snaps into place.
The fact that the fabric on the back is not connected to the seat makes me feel
as though it would be easy for a child to slip out - again, not the case with
the quatro tour.
Finally, I still use my original green quatro tour with my almost 3 year old and
she still fits wonderfully. Heck, I have even had my 6 year old sitting in the
seat when he got tired and he fit. With the metrolite my three year old already
didn't fit, and she is a little girl. So, this carriage is short term.
For the money I would say go with the Quatro Tour. You may find it is a little
bit heavier, because it is, but it is a MUCH sturdier carriage and a MUCH better
investment. The pink is beautiful - but not worth the sacrifice.

Mom with 2 kids, January

I LOVE this stroller. I have a 3 year old girl and an 18 month old boy. I
purchased this stroller in navy blue for my son when he was 6 months old. I
wanted a lightweight stroller that I could push with one hand that was easy to
steer. This Graco Metrolite is everything I wanted. It makes travelling around
so much easier; even my husband loves it. I even found it easier to maneuver
than my friends $250 stroller from a well-known store!

Adorable stroller, January

I love this stroller. We had purchased another stroller because it matched
the car seat before our daughter was born, and it did not recline. We then
bought this stroller and we love it! Our daughter looks so adorable sitting in
her pretty pink stroller. The seat reclines quite easily. I am also able to fold
the stroller up with one hand, I can accomplish this task with my daughter in my
arms!!! It is just so nice and incredibly light. The basket under the seat is
huge, and it washes up quite nicely. I would definetly recommend this stroller.
A true must have for any little girls who love pink!
