Good deal for the price,
January 9, 2006
I bought this stroller because I needed something that would be compact for
storage, but still offer some of the benefits of a traditional stroller--a
comfortable reclining seat and storage basket. So far I have been very happy.
The ride is smooth and easy to steer. My only complaint is that the sun shade is
a bit small. I haven't had a problem with hitting my feet because I am only 5
feet. In fact, the handles are almost too high for me. It does require two hands
and a foot to open, but the conventional strollers are too heavy to pick up with
one hand even if you can technically open them with one hand. Other balloon
strollers may be easier. I, however, wanted only one stroller instead of two,
and this was a good compromise between a conventional and balloon stroller. I
wish I would have found this sooner because I went six months without anything,
and I could have used this with the infant carrier/carseat.

Pass this one on if your tall,
January 5, 2006
I bought this stroller to think that it would be nice to have an "umbrella
type fold". Needless to say big mistake. The canopy is to small for it. I used
my Graco Snugride car seat and works fine. It is lightweight. If you are tall
you will keep hitting your feet on the wheels. It is a bit pricey for a Kolcraft
brand stroller. It's a pain when you go to open it up. You have to keep your
child in his/her car seat till you open the stroller up. It takes 2 hands a your
foot to open it. I wish I passed this one up. Big mistake on my part. So I'm
searching for another stroller.

Works for me, November 7,
2005
I really like this stroller, it is light and compact and it is comfortable
for my son. My eddie Bauer car seat fits great and it sits back far enough for
him to sleep comfortably,in alot of strollers the car seat sits too upright. The
basket is great for an umbrella stroller. The stroller steers very well and
smooth. The only complaint I have is the when I 'm pushing the stroller my feet
hit the wheels( I am 5'7"), longer handles would prevent this. I 've just
learned to shorten my stride a little. My husband however is 6'0" and it would be
impossible for him to push the stroller. I'm thinking of purchasing stroller
handle extensions.

not a good stroller--find
something else, October 30, 2005
I spent a lot of time trying to track this stroller down in a store so I
could test drive before buying. I couldn't find it anywhere, so I finally bought
online. When it came, we were immediately disappointed. It was very hard to fold
and unfold (and we bought this partially because Kolcraft stuff usually has good
folding mechanisms); it took 2 hands and a foot to unfold. The sun shade was a
little small, but even worse was that it was crooked and flimsy. The basket was
very difficult to access. My husband is 6' and he had trouble walking behind the
stroller (feet kept hitting wheels) during the 1 outing we took it on before
deciding to return it.
