Manufacturer's age: 3 years and under
From the Manufacturer
The easiest stroller to fold. Period. From Inglesina.
Designed to be folded with only one hand and in the simplest of ways it allows a
parent to fold it (or open it) while carrying the child (or the usual array of
things that parents always have). Zippy combines exceptional design with truly
innovative features, studied to provide maximum comfort for parents and babies.
For the parents this stroller provides great ease of operation as well as
comfort. The height of the handles has been studied to accommodate parents of
different heights and the handles are ergonomically designed. Once folded it
stands on its own. Swivel front wheels provide great maneuverability and the all
terrain wheels can handle the inevitable bumps on the road. It includes a large
storage basket and a carrying handle. For the child there is a 4 position full
recline backrest, an adjustable leg rest and a 5-point harness. The comfort of
the ride is guaranteed by the full suspension system. The Zippy come complete
with a universal car seat adapter that will secure your favorite car seat to the
stroller.

A fantastic stroller, and I've
never once kicked or stepped on the wheels. , November 11, 2005
I felt I had to write a review after reading CQ DX's review. I've owned the
Inglesina Zippy for over a year, and I have *never once* encountered the problem
that this reviewer is so vehemently warning everyone about. Aside from being
great looking, the stroller is incredibly functional and well-designed. It's
lightweight, you can open it with one hand (what an incredible feature when you
are holding your baby in your other arm!) and it's great on all sorts of types
of terrain.
Someone else mentioned the Bugaboo. I personally think the Zippy is a much
smarter buy. I'm sorry that others have had a problem with kicking the wheels,
but I had to counter that review with my own very happy experience with this
stroller.

To put it simply,, August

this is the finest stroller we have ever had (after the purchase of 5 other
strollers!) I only wish they made them in double and tripple versions (for
multiple children). We have NO complaints, and our daughter (2.5) ADORES this
stroller. It is the only one she has ever liked!

You MUST have this stroller !!,
January 30, 2006
I spent the last 5 months looking for the "best" stroller. Is my first child
and I wanted to buy the best one (no matter the price).
I was going to get one of these fancy bugaboo or stokee strollers, but I found
quite "difficult" the folding system. You have to take the bassinet or the seat
to fold the chassis.
This zippy stroller is GREAT! The folding system is awsome!! I can't believe it
when I fold it! It's so comfortable.. (it stands up when folded). Is a
lightweight stroller (only 17 lbs) and the padded seat is great, so cushioned,
your baby will love it! It's not necessary to buy the bassinet (the one you can
attach to the stroller).
If you are doubting and don't know what to buy... please, you have to trust me!!
This stroller is BY FAR THE BEST! And cheaper than the fancier ones out there...

As easy as they say,
January 6, 2006
I spent the last 5 months of my pregnancy looking at every single stroller on
the market. I went into almost every baby store in my area and closed, opened,
and lifted each stroller. The most important feature for me was portability. I
am only 5 ft tall and 110 pounds so I wanted a stroller that was light weight
and would fold easily. I must say that the Zippy does just that. There is very
little fuss to this product. Like the ad says you can open and close it with
just one hand. There are a lot of other strollers that make the same argument
but it's really not true. If you're looking between the Zippy and the Peg Perego
models I would definitely go with the Zippy. Peg Perego tries to use a similar
close/open design but they haven't perfected it. The Zippy is slightly more
expensive than most, but it is quite durable and worth the price. The wheels on
this stroller are okay - they aren't designed for rolling on grass or unpaved
roads, but I live in Southern California so this stroller works really well for
me.
My one issue with the Zippy is using it as a travel system. Because there aren't
any infant car seats made specifically for this stroller, you have to use the
straps to snap in the Graco SnugRide. When you're in a hurry this can be
somewhat of an issue because the straps can get stuck in between the bars and
you have to do a little bit of adjusting to get everything just right. All in
all though, it's an awesome stroller.

A solid stroller option,
December 15, 2005
I searched long and hard for a stroller (perhaps a bit obsessed with baby
carrying!) and am quite pleased with this stroller. Lighter than the other full
service umbrella strollers, but full of functionality - most importantly,
LIGHTWEIGHT and easy to fold with one hand at the airplane with baby in other
arm. It has adequate storage, reclines almost entirely, which is important for a
young baby, and has a good harness. If the stroller had longer arms, or
adjustable handlebar height, I would say it is perfect. I am 5'10 and it is
definitely too short. I make due and have learned how to avoid kicking the
wheels, but adjustable handlebars would be great!!

By far the best!, November

One day while browsing for a car seat we discovered and fell in love with the
Inglesina Zippy stroller. Even my daugther liked this one, she did not want to
get out of it at the store. Although the basket underneath is small and hard to
get to, the light weight, handling and size had me on "hello!" It is by far the
best. Don't forget the legendary one-hand fold stroller feature.
